زندگی یک جغد ایرانی در دنیای کتاب‌ها

زاپاس اثر پرنس هری

این کتاب چهارصد و ده صفحه‌ای تماما زندگی نامه است. تنها کتابی که توانست اشک من را در آورد، زمانی که پرنس هری از مادرش می‌گفت. او در این کتاب زندگی خود را از کودکی تا مرگ مادربزرگش(ملکه‌ی انگلستان) تعریف می‌کند. گاهی خواندن این روایت‌ها خنده به لب خواننده می‌آورد و گاهی اشکش را جاری می‌کند! گاهی خواننده عصبانی می‌شود و گاهی بی‌حوصله، اما در هر صورت روایت به شکلی است که نمی‌تواند کتاب را کنار بگذارد. 

متاسفانه راهی برای راستی‌آزمایی وجود ندارد. می‌دانیم که طبق پروتکل خاندان سلطنتی، هیچ‌یک از اعضایی که پرنس هری نام آن‌ها را به میان آورده همانند برادر، پدر و ... حتی اگر بخواهند نیز اجازه‌اش را ندارند که در برابر کتاب لب به سخنی بگشایند! زیرا پروتکل‌ها می‌گویند اعضای خاندان سلطنتی حق گله، شکایت و اعتراض ندارد و تنها باید سکوت کنند چون اگر هر عکس‌العملی نشان دهند به این معنی است که چیزی در حقیقت وجود داشته که حال آن شخص در حال ترمیم و اصلاح آن است.

همان‌طور که پیشتر نوشتم راهی برای راستی‌آزمایی نیست اما من به عنوان یک انسان دوست دارم پرنس هری را بابت تجربه‌هایش در زندگی در آِغوش بگیرم. شاید حرف‌های او گویای این باشد که هیچ‌کس در دنیا به اندازه‌ی او زجر نکشیده اما از نظر من او حتی یک هزارم سختی‌های من را نکشیده، ولی با همه‌ی این‌ حرف‌ها معتقدم روح او از همان دوران کودکی خرد شد، درست آن زمانی که پدرش از مادرش بابت هدیه دادن جانشین و یک زاپاس به او تشکر کرد. بله، یک زاپاس.

من اهل خواندن زندگینامه، سفرنامه و کتاب‌های این چنینی نیستم. در خصوص پرنس هری در ذهنم سوال‌هایی وجود داشت از جمله‌ی این‌ها که: «چرا به ارتش بریتانیا پیوست؟»، «در افغانستان چکار داشت؟»، «چطور مگان را پیدا کرد؟»، «چرا از خاندان سلطنتی جدا شد؟» و ... که برای رسیدن به این سوال‌ها کتاب را مطالعه کردم. او به سوال‌های من پاسخ کامل و واضحی داد که به همین جهت از خواندن این کتاب راضی و خوشحالم.

چهار از پنج، تنها بخاطر آن‌که خواندن بخش‌هایی از کتاب خسته کننده بود.

Spare By Prince Harry

This four-hundred-and-ten-page book is entirely a biography. The only book that managed to bring tears to my eyes was when Prince Harry spoke about his mother. In this book, he defines his life from childhood to the death of his grandmother (the Queen of Britain). Sometimes reading these narratives brings a smile to the reader's lips, and sometimes it brings tears! Sometimes the reader becomes angry, and sometimes bored, but in any case, the narrative is in a way that one cannot put the book aside.

Unfortunately, there is no way to verify the truth. We know that according to the royal protocol, none of the members whose names Prince Harry has mentioned, like his brother, father, and others, even if they want to, are not allowed to speak in front of the book! Because protocols say that members of the royal family have no right to complain, protest, or object, and they must remain silent because if they show any reaction, it means that something really happened, and that person is currently trying to repair and rectify it.

As I mentioned earlier, there is no way to verify the truth, but as a human, I would like to embrace Prince Harry for his experiences in life. Perhaps his words indicate that no one in the world has suffered as much as he has, but in my opinion, he has not endured even a thousandth of my hardships. However, with all these words, I believe his spirit was shattered from the very childhood, right when his father thanked his mother for giving him an heir and a spare. Yes, a spare.

I am not a fan of reading biographies, travelogues, and such books. Regarding Prince Harry, there were questions in my mind, such as 'Why did he join the British Army?', 'What was he doing in Afghanistan?', 'How did he find Meghan?', 'Why did he separate from the royal family?' and so on. I read the book to find answers to these questions. He gave complete and clear answers to my questions, which is why I am satisfied and happy with reading this book.
